HEARTFELT HOLIDAYS MISSION Merryman House Domestic Crisis Center is dedicated to saving, building, and changing the lives of individuals and families affected by domestic violence across Kentucky’s eight-county Purchase Area. HOLIDAY NEEDS Merryman House strives to bring warmth, hope, and a sense of normalcy to the families it serves. Community members can help by decorating the campus, providing Thanksgiving meals, donating gifts and essentials from the Holiday/Beyond the Essentials Wish List, or supporting transportation needs. Gas cards and Walmart or grocery gift cards are especially help- ful, allowing survivors to purchase necessities, attend appointments, and reconnect with loved ones. HOW YOUR GIFT HELPS As Merryman House faces significant reductions in state and federal funding, its Together We Can: Remain & Sustain Campaign helps ensure survivors of domestic violence and their children continue receiving lifesav- ing services. Donations support emergency shelter, advocacy, counseling, transportation assistance, and resources that help families rebuild their lives. HOLIDAY NEEDS The Papillion Center will host its Paducah Tour of Homes fundraiser on December 12, 2026, from 2–5 PM. Guests can choose between a country tour and a downtown Paducah tour, exploring beautifully decorated homes at their own pace. Gather friends and enjoy an afternoon of holiday charm, with light refreshments offered at the discretion of each homeowner.
