HOLIDAY NEEDS The Hugs Project of Western Kentucky sends approximately 400–500 care packages to deployed military service members during the Christmas season, compared to its usual 60–100 packages each month. Volunteers are needed to help prepare, pack, and mail these boxes filled with love and encouragement. Monetary donations are also needed to help cover postage costs, ensuring each package reaches a service member far from home. Deadline to donate or volunteer for Christmas packages is December 15th. HOW YOUR GIFT HELPS Every donation and volunteer hour helps remind deployed service members that they are remembered, appreciated, and supported.
