Sponsored by SEPTEMBER 2026 19 Paducah-McCracken County Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors What are your most significant professional accomplishments to date? My biggest professional accomplishment has been leading the merger of three REALTOR® associations into one stronger organization that serves most of Western Kentucky. I have earned my REALTOR® Certified Executive (RCE) designation, which reflects my commitment to growing as an association executive and serving our members at the highest level. Describe a challenge in your career and how you overcame it. One of the biggest challenges in my career is keeping up with the constant changes in the real estate industry. Technology, forms, laws, and industry standards are always evolving, and it’s my responsibility to understand those changes and effectively communicate them to nearly 500 REALTORS® across Western Kentucky. I overcome this by staying engaged in continuing education, embracing new technology, and focusing on clear communication. My goal is to make change easier for our members by providing the advocacy, education, technology, and support they need to succeed. What makes you stand out in your industry or field? What makes me stand out is my ability to bring a fresh perspective while still respecting the history and importance of our REALTOR® organization. I am the youngest REALTOR® Association CEO in Kentucky and one of only three executives in the state who currently hold the REALTOR® Certified Executive (RCE) designation. Who inspires you, and how has that influenced your professional journey? I have had many people inspire me throughout my career, but my grandparents have always been my biggest inspiration. Even though they never fully understood what my job involved, they always asked one simple question: “Did you do your best?” That mindset has stayed with me throughout my professional journey. It reminds me that success is not just about titles or accomplishments, but about showing up, giving your best, and making a positive impact on the people you serve. Jocelyn Craddock CEO, REALTOR® Association of Western Kentucky Mayfield Kentucky Industrial Authority Board Member, Graves County University of Kentucky Extension Office Board Member, Mayfield Rotatory Club Member, Graves County Farm to Table Event Committee Member, Mayfield/ Graves County Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, West Kentucky Leadership Class #4 Graduate, Mayfield Leadership Class of 2024 Graduate What makes you stand out in your industry or field? I believe what sets me apart is my commitment to building trust through consistency, accessibility, and communication. I believe that one of the most important qualities a professional can have is following through on commitments. If I say I am going to do something, I make every effort to deliver, because reliability builds lasting relationships with both clients and team members. I also strive to be approachable. I want people to feel comfortable asking questions, sharing concerns, or seeking guidance. Finally, I place a strong emphasis on clear and proactive communication. Whether I am working with clients, coworkers, or those I serve alongside in the community, I believe that keeping people informed and fostering open dialogue leads to stronger relationships, better decisions, and greater success. These qualities have become the foundation of my approach to serving others. What advice would you give to other young professionals striving for success? The first thing that comes to mind is, “The grass isn’t always greener on the other side.” My advice to young professionals would be to appreciate the stage of life and career they are in instead of constantly chasing or looking for the next big thing. It’s easy to believe that happiness or success will come with the next promotion, a bigger salary, or a new opportunity, but that mindset can make you overlook the growth and experiences happening right now. Every phase of your career offers unique lessons, relationships, and opportunities to build skills that will serve you in the future. Ambition is very important to success, but it should be balanced with gratitude for where you are today. By staying present and making the most of your current role, you’ll not only enjoy the journey more but also build a stronger foundation for whatever comes next.
