City of Murray Tree Board, West KY Star Best Landscape Services, Beautification Award for Murray Bank Main Branch in Murray What are your most significant professional accomplishments to date? One of my greatest professional accomplishments has been building and leading businesses that positively impact my community. I owned and operated Southpointe Services in Murray, Kentucky, for more than seven years before taking over Forever Green Lawn & Landscape in 2025, a company that had been successfully operating for over 35 years. Since taking ownership, I have focused on growing the business, expanding our client base, and building a strong team of more than 10 experienced employees who bring years of knowledge and expertise to every project. Together, we have continued to build a reputation for quality workmanship, reliability, and exceptional customer service. I take pride in creating outdoor spaces where families, friends, and businesses can enjoy spending time together. Whether it’s a residential landscape, a commercial property, or a public space, my goal is to leave every project better than I found it while exceeding my clients’ expectations. Beyond my business, I enjoy using my experience to give back to the Murray community. Through my work with the City of Murray, I have had the opportunity to contribute to landscape planning and beautification efforts for public spaces, helping create an environment that residents and visitors can enjoy for years to come. Seeing both my business and my community grow together has been one of the most rewarding accomplishments of my career. What advice would you give to other young professionals striving for success? My advice to other professionals is to focus on your reputation before your success. Be dependable, work hard, and always follow through on your commitments. The way you treat people, whether it’s your employees, customers, or members of your community, will have a lasting impact on your career. I’ve also learned that you don’t have to have all the answers. Surround yourself with people who have experience, be willing to listen, and never stop learning. Some of the best decisions I’ve made have come from trusting the knowledge of those around me while continuing to grow as a leader. BioKinetics Physical Therapy Marketing Director, Celebrations Events & Tents Marketing Director, Murray-Calloway County Chamber of Commerce Member, Alpha Gamma Delta: Gamma Xi Chapter Special Events Advisor What are your most significant professional accomplishments to date? My most significant professional accomplishment has been founding Magnolia’s House of Brides, a luxury bridal boutique in Murray, Kentucky. From developing the business plan and securing financing to renovating the space, curating designers, building the brand, and launching the business, I led every aspect of bringing the boutique to life. My goal was to create a personalized bridal experience unlike any other in our region while giving local brides the opportunity to find their dream dress close to home. In addition to opening Magnolia’s House of Brides, I have continued to work as Marketing Director for BioKinetics Physical Therapy and Celebrations Events & Tents. Across all three businesses, I have developed marketing strategies, strengthened each brand’s online presence, and helped foster meaningful relationships within our community. Perhaps the accomplishment I am most proud of is successfully balancing entrepreneurship with family life. Building a new business while raising two young children has required resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to serving both my family and my community. Describe a challenge in your career and how you overcame it. One of the greatest challenges in my career was taking the leap to open Magnolia’s House of Brides. Transitioning from managing an established family-owned business to building a brand-new retail business from the ground up required me to step outside of my comfort zone. Every decision, from securing financing and selecting inventory to renovating the space and creating a luxe customer experience, was new territory. Like starting any new business, there were moments of uncertainty. I had to learn an entirely new industry while balancing the responsibilities of being a wife, a mother to two young children, and a leader within our family businesses. Rather than allowing those challenges to discourage me, I approached them as opportunities to grow. I sought guidance from experienced mentors, invested time in learning every aspect of the bridal industry, and remained focused on providing an exceptional experience for every bride who walked through our doors.
