EVENT RE-VUE THE SHADRACH GOLF SCRAMBLE ,ĞŝĚŝ ŽĂnj, ,ŽůůLJ ,ŽƵƐĞƌ, ůůLJƐŽŶ ,ƵŵƉŚƌĞLJ, ĂƌůĂ ,ĂƌƉĞƌ, ĞŶŝƐĞ WĞƌƌŝŶ, dŝīĂŶLJ tŽůƚĞnj, Rhonda Graham, Monica Glisson, Rudelle Orazine, Dan Boaz “The Shadrach” is a golf tournament named in honor of Shad Boaz, who died in 2008 as a result of a wreck on Olivet Church Road in Paducah. Golfers came out June 20 to Rolling Hills Country Club to reach out and help students seeking a college education with proceeds going to the Shad H. Boaz Memorial Scholarship Fund. In the eight years that the tournament has been in existence, $113,000 has been raised. Two students graduated that received the scholarship this year from Murray State University and three students are currently enrolled. The Boaz family would like to thank the community that has rallied behind them and participated in the tournament. About 80% of the golfers have participated every year, and for that the Boaz family is so thankful.
