EVENT RE-VUE KARE FOR KIDS CHRISTMAS PARTY Some children never really experience a Christmas party with presents, but Kare for Kids saw to it that the number is a bit lower. Te Christmas party on Dec. 13 at Lone Oak First Baptist Church for children in foster care matched a child with a volunteer for the day. Games, face painting, balloon animals, bingo, crafts, basketball, Hooked on Science, and even more filled out the first part of the event. After lunch, and a visit from Santa, PATS buses took kids to Walmart, with the volunteers following close by in cars, and together they did some serious Christmas shopping. Tis year Kare for Kids ran short on money, so private donors stepped in to make up the difference.
