When Lucille decided to become an active member of the Paducah/McCracken Senior Center, she began taking the line dancing classes offered by instructor Tiffany Dawn. Living alone at home, Lucille had noticed a decline in her mental and physical health, prompting her to seek out activity and community. She now participates in several programs at the Senior Center and encourages other older adults to check it out. SilverSneakers is a fitness and wellness program designed for individuals aged 65 and older who are on select Medicare plans. Eligible members gain access to over 15,000 fitness locations nationwide. The program offers classes led by certified instructors, suitable for various fitness levels.
