HOLIDAY OPPORTUNITIES During the holiday season, Lifeline Recovery Center focuses on ensuring that the children and families connected to its programs feel loved and valued. Through the distribution of gifts and other forms of support, the organization reminds families that they are not alone on their journey toward healing and restoration. These holiday initiatives provide comfort, hope, and a tangible expression of care for the men, women, and children served by Lifeline. Deadline to donate is December 15th. GIVING OPPORTUNITIES Lifeline Recovery Center offers a full continuum of care, including residential treatment, transitional housing, peer support, counseling, and life-skills development. End-of-year contributions help keep program fees affordable, allowing individuals to continue accessing the essential care they need on their path to long-term recovery. Donations directly support both the ongoing programs and the families of those in treatment, helping sustain Lifeline’s mission of healing and restoration. MISSION The Kentucky State Police promotes public safety with honor, courage, and commitment utilizing partnerships to: 1) Prevent, reduce, and deter crime and the fear of crime; 2) Enhance highway safety through education and enforcement; 3) Protect and safeguard individual rights; and 4) Provide leadership, training, technical, and operational support to the criminal justice community. HOLIDAY OPPORTUNITIES The Kentucky State Police organizes two primary holiday programs: Cram the Cruiser and Shop With a Trooper. Cram the Cruiser is the department’s annual food drive, held during the first week of December, which supports local food pantries. Non-perishable food items and monetary donations are collected and distributed to community pantries to help replenish their supplies following Thanksgiving and in preparation for Christmas. You can Follow “Trooper Burgess” on Facebook for additional Cram the Cruiser locations. Kentucky State Police Post 1 will host the annual Shop With a Trooper event on December 20th. This program provides families in need with a holiday meal and financial support, followed by an opportunity for children to go Christmas shopping with law enforcement officers. There is no deadline for Shop With A Trooper. Donations received after December 20th will be utilized next year.
