years CELEBRATING I NEVER REALLY BELIEVED THE old saying “find a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life”, until now. Now over two years into being an Account Executive at VUE, I love coming to work every single day. After working 12 years in the nuclear industry, I was in for a complete shock when I started with VUE. VUE came into my life right when everything was about to change. My husband and I were about to welcome our little boy into the world and life was going to look different. At nine months pregnant, I wasn’t really looking to change careers, but I also wasn’t certain we could make my current job work with two children and a new baby. I received a call from Carolyn to set up an interview, and three months later, after maternity leave, I started my first day with the VUE Crew. This shift in career paths has been the best change for myself and my family. New job, new baby, and new beginnings! If I could describe my time so far at VUE, I would describe it as uplifting, encouraging, supportive, and something I look forward to each day. The time Carolyn, Maggie, Nichelle, Sa- mantha, and I spend together each day is truly a joy and bless- ing. We laugh together, cry together (mainly me happily crying over everything), pray together, and comfort each other when times are tough. In the short time I have been here, I can truly say that we were all placed in each other’s lives for a reason. I thank God each day for bringing these girls into my life. Every day at VUE is unpredictable, filled with new experi- ences, new businesses, and new people. It is so rewarding to be a part of something that gives back to our community in more ways than one. I never leave a meeting with a client or an event without feeling like my cup is running over. Getting to know people in our community, building new friendships, and help- ing businesses succeed, has been incredibly rewarding. I know without a doubt, God has big plans for us, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for VUE Magazine! Our goal is to make sure our community gets to see the brighter side of life and I know we strive to continue to make that happen. They always say the grass is greener on the other side. Today I can say it really is bright, beautiful, and greener on this side of life! KAYLA NEELY 84 OCTOBER 2024 | INTHEVUE.COM Photo credit: Tabitha Stoffel Photography
