Leadership Paducah Class #39, Paducah Professional Women Member, Chamber Young Professionals Member, Charity League of Paducah Associate Member Lindsay Ramsey’s most significant professional accomplishment came in 2017 while working with the American Cancer Society in Paducah. That year, she led the organization’s Dancing with Our Stars event, which faced numerous challenges yet ultimately raised over $325,000 for cancer research—the most in the event’s history at the time. Lindsay credits this achievement to the dedication of her committee, the stars, and the community. “It was an incredible feeling to give back in such a big way,” she says, reflecting on the experience that helped solidify her passion for meaningful, community-driven work. Early in her career, Lindsay discovered that stability alone wasn’t enough. She realized that some roles lacked fulfillment and left her questioning the impact of her work. Instead of settling, she used that discomfort as motivation to reflect on her values and long-term goals. Leaning into her passions—community, service, and creating meaningful change—she sought opportunities that aligned with her purpose. This journey led her to her current role, where she feels energized, motivated, and deeply connected to her mission. Lindsay stands out in the nonprofit world for her people- centered leadership, strategic thinking, and unwavering commitment to impact. She combines compassion with action, ensuring every initiative she leads is mission-driven and results- oriented. Known for her ability to build authentic relationships with donors, partners, and communities, she also brings innovation to traditional models, maximizing resources and expanding reach. Her adaptability and resilience allow her to navigate challenges with clarity, always putting people first and leading with integrity. Her greatest inspiration comes from her children, who motivate her to be the best version of herself, both personally and professionally. Guided by the example of her own mother, Lindsay strives to balance career success with family life, modeling ambition, compassion, and consistency for the next generation. Lindsay hopes to leave a legacy of service, compassion, and empowerment. She wants to be remembered as someone who showed up, made a difference, and inspired others to do the same. Her advice to young professionals is to focus on growth, embrace setbacks as learning opportunities, nurture authentic relationships, seek mentors, stay adaptable, and prioritize integrity. She emphasizes balance, reminding others that sustainable success comes not just from achieving goals, but from appreciating the journey along the way. Lindsay Ramsey Assistant Director, River Discovery Center Sponsored by 40 Under Forty Paducah Professional Women Vice President, Paducah Hospitality Secretary, The BLOOM Initiative Executive Board Member, Paducah Chamber of Commerce Business Advocacy, Membership & Marketing, Lone Oak Elementary School Marketing/ Parent Teacher Liaison Lindsey Eberhardt measures her professional accomplishments not by titles or metrics, but by purpose. In her leadership role in hospitality, she has guided teams through some of their most successful years and mentored future leaders. Beyond her work, Lindsey has aligned her career with community involvement, serving on boards, supporting local businesses, and partnering with organizations such as St. Jude’s Dream Home and United Way’s Power of the Purse. She is deeply committed to her work, the people she works with, and the impact it creates. One of her proudest achievements is maintaining that commitment while raising three daughters, showing them through action what it means to lead with heart and purpose at work, in the community, and at home. Her career has not been without challenges. During COVID-19, Lindsey was in her third year as Director of Sales & Marketing at another Marriott hotel when travel came to a standstill. Like many, she pivoted into a short-term job outside her field to support her family. Less than six months later, she was invited to relaunch the newly renovated Courtyard by Marriott, returning to the industry she loves and picking up where she left off. That experience reinforced her passion for hospitality, her dedication to Paducah, and her drive to create meaningful impact, no matter the circumstances. Lindsey is known for leading with heart, tenacity, and connection. She remains calm under pressure, adapts quickly, and thinks creatively when plans shift. Her ability to blend professionalism with authenticity sets her apart, whether mentoring a team member, welcoming guests, or finding new ways to engage her community. She invests deeply in the people behind the work, ensuring they feel seen and valued. Inspired by women who lead quietly yet powerfully, Lindsey draws strength from those who balance careers, families, advocacy, and personal growth with grace. Her daughters—Olivia, Everly, and Agatha—are a daily reminder of that strength and why she shows up fully every day. Lindsey hopes her legacy reflects compassion, connection, and courage. She wants to be remembered not just for her work, but for how she made others feel—seen, supported, and empowered. She strives to create opportunities, kindness, and space for women to show up fully and lead with confidence, modeling for her daughters that they too can lead, speak up, and make a difference.
