McCracken Youth Basketball Coach, Lone Oak Youth Softball Coach, Church Camp Leader for Youth, Student Ambassador Administrator, Leadership Team Member, Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports Administrator, Liaison for Math Department Morgan Morris has dedicated the past 11 years to serving as Assistant Principal at Lone Oak Middle School, where she has worked tirelessly to provide leadership, build meaningful relationships, and help guide the school forward. One of the highlights of her career came through her involvement in the complete development of the school’s new building—from initial design to opening day. Seeing the project come to life and knowing she contributed to creating a space that meets the needs of students was an immensely rewarding experience. More than any project, Morgan takes pride in fostering an environment where students feel supported, staff feel valued, and the community works together toward a shared goal. Transitioning from classroom teaching to administration was one of the most difficult decisions of Morgan’s career. She loved connecting with students daily and worried that moving into leadership would distance her from those relationships. Encouraged by mentors, colleagues, and her faith, she embraced the challenge, realizing she could continue making a difference in a broader capacity—supporting teachers while still building relationships with students. What sets Morgan apart is her commitment to “lead with a teacher’s heart.” Even after more than a decade as assistant principal, she never forgets the realities of classroom life. Her personal motto, “Relationships Over Rigor,” reflects her belief that strong connections with teachers and students lead to greater engagement, effort, and success. This approach has allowed her to cultivate enduring relationships—not only with current students and staff but also with alumni and families who continue to stay in touch. Morgan draws inspiration from the students and staff she works with, whose dedication and perseverance motivate her daily. She is equally inspired by leaders who lead with kindness, honesty, and support, striving to emulate these qualities in her own leadership style. Ultimately, Morgan hopes to be remembered as a leader who led with heart, built genuine relationships, and made people feel seen and valued. She wants her legacy to reflect a commitment to faith, compassion, and consistency, leaving a lasting impact on those she serves. Her advice to young professionals is simple but profound: prioritize relationships, be present, and lead with kindness—because people, not strategies alone, create meaningful, lasting change. Morgan Morris Assistant Principal, Lone Oak Middle School Sponsored by 40 Under Forty Climbing Wall Association Member, Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce Member, Western Kentucky Climbers Coalition Board Member Nicole Martinez Griffin has built a career fueled by determination, courage, and a passion for pushing limits—both her own and those of the community she serves. At just 27, she opened Tenacity, a Ninja Warrior and climbing gym in Paducah, starting with a personal investment of only $5,000 and a dream. Over the years, Nicole has transformed Tenacity into a hub where athletes of all ages can challenge themselves, grow their skills, and discover what they are capable of. Her journey as an entrepreneur was far from easy. Being young and female in a male-dominated field brought frequent moments of surprise from attendees and peers when she introduced herself as the owner. Instead of letting doubt hold her back, she embraced every challenge as a chance to learn, grow, and lead by example. Nicole’s experience competing on NBC’s hit show American Ninja Warrior across four seasons—7, 9, 10, and 11—sets her apart in her field. Notably, she earned the title of city finalist in her third season, gaining national recognition while remaining deeply committed to her local community. Her firsthand knowledge of training high-level athletes, navigating competitions, and sharing that expertise with others has established her as a respected and inspiring leader in the fitness world. She draws inspiration from pioneering female entrepreneurs like Sara Blakely, the founder of SPANX, whose resilience and “figure it out” attitude resonate deeply with Nicole. Observing women who overcame obstacles and industry “no’s” motivates her to continue breaking barriers and encouraging others to pursue their own ambitions. Through Tenacity, Nicole hopes to leave a legacy of empowerment and growth. She wants people to remember her gym as a place where they could be themselves, challenge their limits, and discover that what they once thought impossible was just the beginning. In 2024, the camp shirts at Tenacity carried the phrase, “I can do hard things,” a statement that reflects Nicole’s personal philosophy and the lessons she hopes to instill in everyone who walks through her doors. Her advice to young professionals is simple but powerful: take one more step every day and consistently do the small things that lead to success. For Nicole, progress isn’t about giant leaps—it’s about persistence, heart, and showing up, even when the path is hard.
